The Milestone is located at back of pavement on the East of the road.  Parish of Thirston (Castle Morpeth District). Cast iron post, MA bevel iron casting design, erected by the Cow-causey & Buckton-Burn turnpike trust in the 19th Century. An earlier photograph can be found here: Link
