Full winter conditions on Crib Goch
Full winter conditions on Crib Goch
Taken in the midst of the cold winter of 1962/63 on what appears to have been a fantastic hill day; it looks like the whole of the Trinity Face of Yr Wyddfa was 'in condition'. This is a scan from a Kodachrome slide in my late father's archive, and he must have gone up to N Wales for a weekend while I was a babe in my mother's arms. The location of the photo is almost exactly the same place as SH6255 : On the Crib Goch arête, but under somewhat different conditions.
