Todmorden Town Hall
Todmorden Town Hall is a grand, Grade I-listed building (Historic England List Entry No 1228980 Link ) which straddles Walsden Water, a tributary of the River Calder.
The building, which was designed in the neoclassical style by architect John Gibson, was opened in April 1875. It was originally used as a ballroom and public hall before Todmorden was granted borough status in 1896. It included a magistrates' court and a holding cell in the basement.
