Island of Delight, Icknield Street, Birmingham
This is the home of Island of Delight Jamaican patties, a form of pasty, and also of the honorary consul of Jamaica in Birmingham. The Jamaican owl atop the building is evidently one of the Big Hoot owls that appeared around Birmingham in 2015 as a charity fundraiser for the Children's Hospital; many examples can be seen on Geograph, such as the Selfie Owl SP0786 : Selfie Owl (27). Big Sleuth bears followed in 2017 (see, for example SP1196 : Wildlife Detective Bear) and one of these has also found its way onto the factory; another has become a Sun Guardian bear at the community garden in Handsworth Park.
