Farrell Centre (Claremont Buildings)
Farrell Centre (Claremont Buildings)
The Farrell Centre combines a public gallery and exhibitions, research hub, and community space. The centre is the vision of Sir Terry Farrell (who grew up in Newcastle and studied at Newcastle University) and aims to increase public engagement in the future of architecture and planning. The Farrell Centre was opened to the public on the 22nd April 2023. The Farrell Centre works closely with Newcastle University's School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape. It is situated within the Claremont Buildings, originally built in 1896 and Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England. Further info: LinkExternal link
