This odd triptych decorates the walls of a takeaway and second hand goods dealer on Foleshill Road; the other end of the main building can be seen at SP3482 : Mural of antique dealer and sandwich bar, Foleshill Road, Coventry. The red poppy remembrance mural on the gable end, with its union jack curtain being pulled back to reveal an orange sky and a hand rising from the sea behind the soldier, is especially striking. Foleshill Road is the heart of multicultural Coventry and not known for displays of English or British patriotic sentiment. Sky Blue Heaven refers of course to Coventry City football club.
