Grade II Listed properties, probably one house originally. Fagans have been in 51 since at least 1996 and probably much earlier although it appears to be empty in 2010 whilst the shop front was replaced. In 1990 planning approved conversion of the shop storage area at 51 to a flat with external stairway. No.49 appears to have been converted to a sandwich shop Lake Bakes in 2005. In 2010 planning approved renovation and reinstatement of original shop fronts including widened door way. This is probably when Fagans expanded into no.49 and replaced both shop fronts as Lake Bakes changed their registered address in August 2010.
