The Milestone is located on grass verge, South of entrance to West View on the East of the road.  Parish of Catterlen (Eden District). Metal plate attached to stone post, Carlisle red stone numeral design, erected by the Carlisle & Eamont Bridge turnpike trust in the 19th Century. Restored in April 2023 by Terry Moore.
