Buildings on High Street. No 39, on the left and home to the Lymington branch of Lloyds Bank, dates from 1923-4, designed by Salisbury architect F S Elgar who designed a number of the bank's branches across the southwest of England. Nos 40 - 42, on the right, dates from the early 19th Century and is grade II* listed, primarily for the shopfront to no 42 which dates from c.1890 - see LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) .
