taken 2 years ago, near to Richmond, North Yorkshire, England

Tower of the former Holy Trinity church
Tower of the former Holy Trinity church
Originally a church in the town centre with 12th century origins, heavily restored in the 18th and 19th. Only the south transept and this 15th century tower remain of the original church, the remainder is modern. It closed for worship in 1972, and was leased by the Diocese of Ripon for 250 years to the Green Howards Trust for use as a regimental museum (except for the former chancel, which is still used as a chapel). Listed grade I (list entry 1096970).
