The Butter Stone
The Butter Stone
During times of plague, money was left in vinegar in the hollows on the stone in exchange for goods.

Being hardly 1 m in length, breadth or height, in a bleak and solitary setting on the edge of the moor, and with no remarkable physical features, this is high on my list of the most underwhelming items to be marked on an OS map!
