Looking across the River Cherwell at Parson's Pleasure
The view from the top of the punt rollerway at Parson's Pleasure, looking across the River Cherwell (flowing left to right), just upstream of the weir. A lovely secluded area hidden by trees and water meadow, though possibly busier on warm sunny days with punts passing and turning round!
River Cherwell
The River Cherwell is a major tributary of the River Thames. It rises near Hellidon in Northamptonshire and flows south through Oxfordshire for 40 miles to meet the Thames at Oxford.
