SW8469 : Pendarves Island and view to Park Head
taken 2 years ago, near to Trenance, Cornwall, England

Pendarves Island and view to Park Head
Looking along the beach from the coastal path between Carnewas Point and Pendarves Point with the sand beach leading to Bedruthan Steps (in the next cove along) and on to the promontory of Park Head in the distance.
Due to cliff falls, access to the beach is no longer possible from this path (there used to be stone steps to the beach).
Pendarves Island is the leftmost feature of the nearest protruding rocks. At high tide it is an actual small island a few yards from the mainland.
For the view from the other side (north), see SW8469 : Looking back to Pendarves Point & Island
