The Rotunda

Adjacent to Annetwell Street and with Finkle Street in the background, The Rotunda marks the main entrance to Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery. The deck of The Rotunda is open for visitors to the Museum and provides a viewing area for Carlisle Castle opposite (photograph NY3956 : Carlisle Castle) and a secure outdoor exhibition space.
The Rotunda is on the route of The Cumbria Way (next photograph NY3956 : Castle Street, Carlisle).
