St Paul's Cathedral

St Paul's Cathedral is the Anglican cathedral on Ludgate Hill in the City of London and the seat of the Bishop of London. The present building dates from the 17th century.

It was designed by Sir Christopher Wren with the first stone of the cathedral laid in 1677.

I've started, so I'll finish

Where I finished last time. This is the third leg of my, probably futile, quest to walk along every City Street, So starting at the bottom end of Moorgate I went parallel up Coleman Street to London Wall, then up to the City's northern boundary. I headed westwards to The Barbican and then back to St Paul's. Lunch at the French Café in Paternoster Square then refreshed via Greyfriars to Bart's and the 'Four Weddings and a Funeral Church'. West at Smithfield and along to Holborn Viaduct, down to Fleet Street and finishing on the Embankment.
