Always look on the Bike side of life
The phrase (deliberately misquoting The Life of Brian, and with an image representing 'bike') is painted on the sides and top of this small utility cabinet. On the front was 'Let's [bike]', but some anti-cyclist vandal has added the work 'lose'. The location is on Kirkstall Hill.
Burley and Kirkstall street art
In the last few years, several urban artists have been painting murals and decorating street furniture in the Burley and Kirkstall area, often with flowers or colourful street scenes. Two in particular deserve mention: Andy McVeigh, specialising in the blue and yellow colours of Leeds United Football Club, uses the tag "Burley Banksy", and Grace Hills who specialises in nature and environmental themes (as well as guerrilla gardening) has featured on TV.
