Village Cross, Minster Lovell
The base of a medieval wayside cross at the junction of Minster Riding and a u/c road, nestling in the verge by the Old Swan pub. The village is prone to flooding and the bridge approach has a raised footpath beside the road.
The cross would have been for pilgrims to the Minster to pray for a safe crossing of the river.
The remains of the Little Minster are viewable but walking down School Lane is advised.

Minster Lovell Hall :: SP3211
The ruins of the mid C15th Minster Lovell Hall lie between the church of St Kenelm Link and the River Windrush in a very attractive and picturesque site. The hall fell into a ruinous condition in the mid C18th, though an engraving of 1729 Link
The manor and hall were owned by a number of different people since its construction in 1431/32 for William 7th Lord Lovell. It is now in the care of English Heritage (see Link
