I am at the ramparts of the Castle Keep, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and looking down at the Grade I-listed Moot Hall, built in 1812 to act as the Northumberland County Court and Prison facility. The River Tyne and its distinctive Tyne Bridge lie beyond.
