Nene Valley Railway maintenance vehicle
In the sidings of the preserved heritage railway at Wansford Station, Nene Valley Railway's (NVR) Plasser & Theurer TASC 45 Machine, No DR98500

This vehicle is known as a TASC (Track And Service Car). It was one of only seven built in 1985, but was out of use by 1998, and was found derelict at Perth, Scotland in 2005.

Fully renovated and operational, it is used for permanent way maintenance by NVR volunteers. One of them appeared to be instructing another in the use of the crane here.
