Path on Capelaw Hill
I thought it too wet and muddy for the bike and walked today and with hindsight I think I called it right despite my difficulties with walking. This path however is a well drained contouring path and I want to get the bike up there as soon as the dry weather or frosts arrive.
The path owes its origin to a lade which was probably dug to fill the now breached first Bonaly Reservoir. The course is visible on the right.
