It's even more obvious in NZ0135 : Lime & Water:, photographed by D M Wilmot from the other side of the burn, that the two kilns differ in their construction, and possibly weren't built at the same time: the right-hand (west) kiln has been constructed with larger blocks of more orangey stone than the left hand (east) one, and the metal wall re-inforcings are quite different.
