Parson Street Railway Station
Parson Street Railway Station
Parson Street Railway Station opened on 29 August 1927 as 'Parson Street Halt'. A wooden shelter stood on the Westbound platform, and a metal shelter stood on the Eastbound platform. The station was rebuilt on 21 May 1933 and the name was changed to 'Parson Street' in November of that year. The waiting shelters and booking office, built in 1933, were demolished in January 1971 after the decline of the station following the closure of the Portishead Branch Line.
