The Edwardian architects took Classical motifs and altered their proportions; here we have giant keystones. Half of the ground-floor is now a shop. This building was the Cleckheaton post office, built in 1907-1908 to the designs of local architects Howorth and Howorth, and opened on 1 April 1908.
