Ordnance Survey rivet benchmark levelled at 33.073m above Newlyn Datum verified 1970. The mark was previously levelled at 106.712 feet above Liverpool Datum as Mark 330 during the 1843/4 Kendal to Carlisle 1GL Survey. The surveyor's description was 'Mark on top of the 2d milestone from Wigton ; 2.76 ft. above surface'
