This is one of five such areas, created around the borough by North Tyneside Council, which are intended to be lasting memorials to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. They are places for reflection and all five locations, at Silverlink Biodiversity Park, Redburn Dene Park, Killingworth Lakeside Park, Wallsend Hall grounds and here in Souter Park, are linked with the borough's 30 mile waggonway network.
