Cleveland Way at Cloughton Wyke
Cleveland Way at Cloughton Wyke
Looking north-west as the Cleveland Way coastal path continues towards Ravenscar and Robin Hood's Bay. That steep cliff just beyond the woodland about 880 metres ahead is called Rodger Trod. Well, Roger certainly trod that way (just a few metres to its left!) on this day.

The image has been scanned from a Kodak Gold 100 negative dating from August 1986.

Mat Fascione summarises:
The Cleveland Way

The Cleveland Way runs 110 miles (177 km) between Helmsley and the Brigg at Filey, skirting the North York Moors National Park. Its highest point is at Urra Moor, 1,489 ft (454 m).
