Badger paw print in mud on a footpath
We have just passed a sett. Looked old. I have been following a set of patty prints for a while and decided to take a photo whilst they still lasted. This isn't the best one I could have snapped, just an available one. Rear left I think. Female Badger. Two years old. Not a mother. Well fed. Healthy. Normal gait. Smokes Gitanes. Prefers Armagnac to Brandy. Speaks with a lisp. Slightly boss-eyed. Very sharp teeth. Will defend her set against all comers. Best left alone. Never attacks unless extremely provoked. Wonderful creature. Not great with roads.
