Wall on Hammermill Lane
Wall on Hammermill Lane
Old drystone wall beside a clear felled section of Waskerleyedge Plantation. The name of Hammermill Lane dates to the 18th century when there was a lot of industry in this area. Small iron works and foundries were established then, as well as coal mines.
