Lych gate, Dalston Church
Virginia Creeper that had almost completely overgrown the lych gate of Dalston Church has been chopped off but not removed, leaving a somewhat untidy appearance.
The path through the lych gate can be used as a pleasant, unofficial alternative to The Cumbria Way long distance path avoiding the traffic on Carlisle Road (next photograph NY3650 : Path beside Dalston Church).
