More than any other in the UK
They say Bath Abbey has more memorials than any other church in the UK: that is a big claim for any building to make. However, memorials are my thing and I have never seen so many. Enormous ones, tiny ones; old ones, the more modern; the greatest of the great, the well travelled, those who have never strayed far from this fair city- they are all here. At well over 600, this magnificent place of worship is only surpassed by the outdoor National Memorial Arboretum. It is a MUST Visit (to the power of must visits)
