'Dancing Ladies', Spanish City, Whitley Bay
These two sculptures, which had stood on top of the cupolas at the Spanish City since it was opened in 1910, were badly damaged by Storm Arwen in November 2021. They were subsequently taken down, restored and moved indoors to the first floor of the building they once danced on the top of. New fibre glass replicas were made and placed on the cupolas.
