Green Plaque outside Epping Station
This green plaque outside Epping Underground Station has been erected by the CPRE Campaign
for the Countryside. It mentions that the Essex Way begins there, it being a long distance path
between Epping and Harwich. Details of this long distance path can be found in a booklet at
LinkExternal link. The plaque itself
celebrates the 21st birthday of The Essex Way (1972-1993).
