A bedraggled Magpie [Pica pica] perched on a nestbox, under the soffit of the roof. But there is more to it than just shelter; there are at least three Tree Sparrow nestlings in the middle hole, each now big enough to provide a snack for a Magpie. Taken through a window on a very wet day.
