A wall of Nipplewort
Abundant growth of this common plant of walls and dry pavements etc., on top of and at the base of a stone wall, on Braid Road, Edinburgh. Lapsana communis is a member of the Asteraceae [ex-Compositae]. I have not tried it, but apparently it can be eaten, either in a salad or cooked like Spinach.
