Water Gate and Pull's Ferry, Norwich
Water Gate and Pull's Ferry, Norwich
The gateway is 15th century, leading to the ferry. It would have formed part of the monastic precinct surrounding the cathedral. Listed Grade II* and also a Scheduled Monument. It was saved from destruction in the 1880s when it was threatened by a railway project. This was thrown out by Parliament.
