Old milestone on the N59 between Ballina and Sligo - this was one of many I saw along the road, so the majority appear to be intact in this area. Age unknown, but there is a benchmark on the top which dates from the 1st Geodetic Levelling of Ireland 1839-43 G3529 : Bench Mark near Inishcrone.
