Bure Bridge
Bure Bridge
Built in the 1970s to relieve pressure on Vauxhall Bridge, the main entrance to the town from Norwich.
River Bure

The River Bure rises near Melton Constable, 11 miles upstream of Aylsham, which was the original head of navigation. Most of its length lies within the Norfolk Broads. Nowadays, the head of navigation is 10 miles downstream at Coltishall Bridge and it flows to Great Yarmouth where it meets Breydon Water and flows into the sea at Gorleston.
