taken 2 years ago, near to Walker, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England

Looking upstream from Hebburn Riverside Park
The monolithic building on the far shore of the Tyne is the premises of Technip. Beyond are the two cranes at the Offshore Technology Park NZ2863 of Shepherd's Offshore at Walker Riverside. It is believed that the cranes have been nicknamed Branwen and Thor. There is certainly a precedent for naming giant cranes - notably Samson and Goliath in Belfast - see J3575 : Samson and Goliath.
