Former railway bridge, Trans Pennine Trail
Former railway bridge, Trans Pennine Trail
The tarmac path leads gently up to the trail. The railway line was the Stairfoot Branch of the Hull, Barnsley and West Riding Junction Railway, which opened in 1885. The bridge is called Sewage Bridge, as it is close to sewage works.
