Welcome to Monk Bretton
Welcome to Monk Bretton
Burton Road, West Green, on the north-east edge of Barnsley. The more distant houses were built between 1890 and 1904, the nearer ones between 1904 and 1929. The whole housing development was then known as Klondike, not West Green.
