TL1207 : Course of the Roman Town Wall

taken 1 month ago, near to St Albans, Hertfordshire, England

Course of the Roman Town Wall
Course of the Roman Town Wall
The Romans enclosed their town Verulamium with a fortified wall. Over a kilometre of it is in TL1207, visible as a line of trees.
Very little public access, this is what's visible from the footpath.
