Do Not Trespass On The Railway
Do Not Trespass On The Railway
The old rail link between Hatfield and St Albans was closed to all traffic back in 1969.
The route became a cycle path, the Alban Way.
At the Hatfield end there is local interest in preserving some of the railway heritage, with restoration at Smallford and Nast Hyde stations, and various items of railwayana in between.
According to the green sign on the tree, this is Deadmans Crossing.
He probably trespassed.
