Farm road crossing route of old railway
The route crossed by the farm road was the Tees Valley Railway, it branched from
the Stainmore Line which is the better-known name of the South Durham & Lancashire Union Railway. The section of the rail route to the left of the image is now in use as the Tees Railway Path.
