SJ1807 : Trig point on Y Golfa

taken 2 months ago, near to Castle Caereinion, Powys, Wales

Trig point on Y Golfa
Trig point on Y Golfa
The lower slopes of the modest hill, Y Golfa are partly surrounded by the greens and fairways of Welshpool Golf Course; it could easily be thought that there's a connection, but perhaps not. Google Translate suggests that Y Golfa would convert to 'The Gulf', which itself seems improbable... the hill has prominence whereas a gulf would be a hollow!
The distant uplands lie to the east and are the Breidden Hills.
