The free-standing monument was built only in 2017, being unveiled and dedicated on October 4th. of that year; prior to that there had been just a plaque in the village church.
The image was recorded less than an hour after 11 a.m on Remembrance Sunday 2024 when the poppy wreaths will have been laid.
