Built around 1870, Halifax House is a Grade II listed building (List Entry Number :1068356) . It was designed by the famous architect G. E. Grayson in the Victorian style with Corinthian elements.
It was the head office of the Union Bank of the British Empire and which was bought by Lloyds Bank in 1900.
