Escalator (Inside), Monument Metro Station
A triple escalator leading from street level (Blackett Street and Grey Street) to the underground platforms. This station joined the network on 15 November 1981, following the opening of the third phase between Haymarket and Heworth. The station is named after Grey's Monument, which stands directly above it.
