NT2963 : St Matthew's Side Cloister

taken 30 days ago, near to Rosewell, Midlothian, Scotland

St Matthew's Side Cloister
St Matthew's Side Cloister
The cloister south of the church separates the church itself from the matching hall and school, and is Category B Listed. See LinkExternal link for details. Especially noteworthy are that it was built by volunteer labour, and that the use throughout of bricks was to keep the local brickworks open.
