Horton-in-Ribblesdale is a small village in the Yorkshire Dales National Park close to the source of the River Ribble. It is situated in Ribblesdale on the Settle–Carlisle Railway line to the west of Pen-y-ghent. Its population was recorded as 428 at the 2011 Census.
B6479 Road

The B6479 is in North Yorkshire from Settle up the Ribble Valley to the end at Ribblehead on the B6255. Villages are passed at Langcliffe, Stainforth, Studfold, Horton-in-Ribblesdale and Selside. The Settle to Carlisle railway line is followed for the entire route of 11 miles.
