River Feshie south from Carnachuin
River Feshie south from Carnachuin
The River Feshie looking upstream beyond Glenfeshie Lodge as seen from a military memorial at Carnachuin - NN8493 : Memorial in Glen Feshie. The river here flows for some distance over its flat valley floor using various channels; It actually bends to the left beyond trees rather than passing between the two hills.
In the distance the mountain to the right rises to 739 metres and is unnamed on OS maps. That to the left continues to rise, ultimately reaching Càrn an Fhidlheir at 849 metres.
(Note: image rendered in monochrome due to an exaggerated blue cast on the snow which proved resistant to removal.)
